Hello! My name is Aileen Chang-Matus, and I’m 
your proofreader and copy editor here at Perfect Page Services. I enjoy helping people put their best foot forward and get their messages heard.
My education includes a B.A. degree in English from Grinnell College, teaching credentials from Coe College, and an A.S. degree in Accounting from Kirkwood Community College.
I have further honed my skills in writing and helping others write in a wide variety of sales and business settings and community and faith-based volunteer groups with individuals of widely varying backgrounds. I am proficient in traditional grammar and writing conventions and adept at crafting language for contemporary contexts.
I enjoy reading about the beautiful diversity of people in the world, traveling about the United States and abroad, watching movies with my family, gardening (in moderation), cooking, sharing the bounty with my loved ones, and following current events.
My favorite ice cream treat is the classic chocolate wafer and vanilla ice cream sandwich. My favorite hot food is homemade chicken soup. My favorite television show is Call the Midwife. I read much too promiscuously to have a favorite book, but two that are on my very short list are Ralph Ellison’s Invisible Man and Iris Chang’s The Chinese in America.
